I'm all out of inspiration. Doing Chinese tomorrow. I need 2 dishes one with king prawn and one with chicken (mains). But neither can be sweet and sour nor too spicy.
Ideas please!

make a red pepper and cherry tomato 'paste' (add garlic and onions before sweating down the peppers and tomatoes - about 20 minutes).
Pan saute fresh or frozen prawns at the last minute until just pink and add (scallops can be an alternative or served with) add to the paste/sauce. Serve on Chinese egg-noodles.

Not for tomorrow (as you're not going out again), but for next time, think Pancake Rolls. Mrs A did, and the results are stunning! You can buy the wrappers from Ocado (etc), fill them with what you like (in our case vegetables only), shallow fry them, and they are delicious.
The not-going-out-again thing puts the kyebosh on many other ideas, I'm afraid. Again, Ocado/M&S do a nice beansprout these days for only 50p, which are easy to cook and delicious.
And if you've got time (and no going out) do fried rice rather than steamed. Do the rice today so it's got time to cool properly, then fry a spring onion or two, plus a fast-scrambled egg, then the rice with some added soy sauce.
I've not cooked meats for 40 years now, so a bit short of ideas on that front.

Am now drifting towards Dt's tomato and pepper dish (we've a glut of tomatoes).
