I just got prescribed medication. I found out about breathing methods and vagal exercises and learned to control the AF. I was having AF and panicking and making it worse. I spoke to hospital and GP who were happy that I could control it. But I won't recommend because it might not be the right thing to do for everybody. I would Google Afib, read up about the vagus nerve. And then ask your GP if it would help you. It certainly helped me. Happy to chat on Body and Soul.
Sqad could possibly help. The vagus nerve has a very important function in many ways.

Apc....no sqad cannot help and ai have no idea how these vagal exercises work in a particular type of AF.
Stimulating the vagus nerve slows the heart and most Drs prefer medications.
You are also correct Apc in determine which type of AF is the problem.
If it works for you, it works and I do not know why.
Sorry.
