Flannelette is brushed cotton but those super soft sheets are made of microfibre. So, no they are not the same.

am just after getting the hotpress sorted out, must be 30 pillowcases, 4 fitted sheets, and perhaps 5 duvet covers.  I did have a go some months ago and threw about 10 duvet covers out.  Do you think pillowcases should say goodbye - thanks

If the pillowcases are wearing out, they might make good dusters.

You don't need that many pillowcases

also since i am on bedwear - my fitted sheet keeps coming off on one side - over the years I used those holders but found them no good.  

other thing I bought larger fitted sheet and they moved within the bed.

pillow cases never ever wear out   Barry - they are like new but of course not in covers
