English Devolution
Why does England not have a devolved parliament/assembly like the other UK countries?
Why should we have Scots/Welsh/NI MPs sticking their oar into English business at Westminster whilst having extensive powers devolved to them regarding their own countries?
This is grossly unfair & needs to be addressed pdq. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Because establishing an English parliament would be the final nail in the coffin of the United Kingdom. And why should we need one? We have by far the largest population, by far the largest economy and by far the largest representation in parliament. If there's one thing we don't need it's more politicians. As for Scottish MPs having a say in purely English matters in parliament, of course they should not do so.
Well Westminster deals with matters pertaining to the UK so of course MPs from Scotland, NI and Wales should be there.
I think the main argument against a regional parliament for England is that it might hasten the break-up of the UK, England being the dominant region. You'd probaby have to make the UK a federal state along the lines of the US.

Thanks for confirming that you have no idea what you’re talking about, the usual clueless rant in complete contrast to the posts you’ve made previously.
Do carry on.
Or do you want to address why very recently you’ve said you’re looking forward to the Scots breaking away?
Which is it? Make up your mind and let us know.
