We’ve had a seven course tasting menu today (a father’s day present from one of our children) with the wine flight (we paid extra for that ourselves) and have had a thoroughly wonderful day.
If I was hugely rich I’d do this at least once a week...or until I got fed up with it, although I can’t imagine that would ever happen.
Rounded the day off with a visit to a Gin Bar for a large goblet of Seville orange gin.
Feeling very lucky, very full, and somewhat pished.
