Anyone? I'm currently looking at the model that is pressure cooker (something I've never used) plus airfryer and a number of other functions...I'm really dithering here.
Pasta , I thought you were giving us a recipe for cannabis :-(
Certainly make corned beef hash more interesting. :-)
I wonder if Pasta has seen this stalwart of the BBC back in the 50s - the writer must have been on some strange American or African spiky tree leaf to come up with this.

Such are the vicissitudes of AB pasta :-(

Sorry, I have never had one. I have always had a pressure cooker which I use for vegetables only. Tried cooking a proper steak and kidney pudding once (suet pastry) but the onions looked like red worms and none fancied eating it for that very reason.
Pasta, I've got the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. So far I have used the pressure cook function, the sous vide function and the air fryer.

I love the PC function - I did pulled pork in an hour on Saturday and it was beautiful. I love it for warming stews and the like which can all be done very quickly. My chicken and pesto pasta cooks in about 10 mins.

The sous vide function does take a while to come up to temp - but I've started using hot water and that seems to have helped. I certainly find it less bother than getting out the sous vide wand and the huge pot that I use.

The air fryer function worked well - I like the fact that you use so little oil, but I do find the basket a bit small.

All in all, I am pleased with it. I do need to buy some inserts for it so I can do a one pot meal. It does save me time and if I had a bit more time, I would learn to use it to its max potential.

Downside is lack of instructions and recipe books. But I now have the Instant pot app and have joined a UK FB group. And it is largely self explanatory. I do like the fact that if you cock it up (I did the second time I used it), it warns you!!!!

Thank you Barmaid...that's the model I'm seriously considering. It's on Black Friday offer that expires at midnight...It's also out of stock!
If it doesn't come back in stock in time, at least I've now got at least one person's feedback for when it next goes on sale.
It's either that or one of several airfryers...also out of stock :(
