Not Looking Forward To The Day Ahead

I normally work from home on Tuesdays but I've no choice but to go in today and man five very busy phones by myself.

Two are off sick, two are on leave and one is working from home all week because she can't drive due to some procedure she's had done on her foot. At least the latter can take her own calls (I'll divert her phone when I get there) but I'll have to take everyone else's.

I've got a horrid, hacking cough and I just want to crawl under the duvet and die.

I'll still be expected to hit my usual Tuesday target in spite of holding the fort singlehandedly. Oh well.

I think I might take a flask of tea and a catheter with me.

Thanks, Chip. It's going to be the same tomorrow but I normally work from the office on a Wednesday. Two of them will be back on Thuesday, thankfully.
