Previously frozen CHEESE? J just took out a wedge of stilton ftom the fridge, and it's labelled as previously frozen and defrosted.
I've never seen this before...have you? I do know that cheese can be frozen.

Does mean you can't refreeze it.
I would not be happy if i bought it not realising it had been frozen. Where did you buy it from and was it cheaper than you would expect to pay?
It could be made from milk that had been frozen, rather than the cheese, and you're not supposed to refreeze once defrosted.

From Sainsbury's..."Previously frozen and defrosted without affecting the quality of the product"
Agreed Barry...I'm disappointed. Seemed a normal price for stilton, but it had a dry-ish consistency I didn't care for.
Oh great..."use within 3 days". Lol...I opened it 3 weeks ago before hoing to my daughter's.
That's bad, i would certainly take it up with Sainsbury
Is this it? https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/sainsburys-blue-stilton-220g

At least the website states that it may have been frozen.
I checked Tesco and saw no mention of freezing but does state eat within three days, not suitable for freezing. Makes me wonder
