I read Rockcress, is good for covering weeds. I wonder, would this work to crush wild garlic. Has anyone any experience of this?

Thank you all

why destroy wild garlic - harvest it, add to salads, treat it like spinach, even make ice-cream with it - so many uses and delicious! And if you don't want to eat it, harvest it and take it over to a decent/upmarket eatery - and get a free meal or more with a bit of good barter.....

Here's what the RHS has to say about controlling wild garlic.  (The use of mat-forming plants, such as rockcress, doesn't seem to be among their ideas though):

I'm with DTC on this. Pick it and eat it. Loads of recipes on line.

If you don't like it find someone that does and tell them to come round and get it.

DTC when do you harvest it and do you mean Ramsons, it stinks like garlic but isn't related.
