Hi Pega, your absoluetly right of course. I had clicked on "post answer" before the phone rang and I got sidetracked for 20 minutes. I didn't see your post before I posted mine if you follow, and was unaware it was for a crossword as there is nothing to suggest that in the question.


I said "as the English term it" as I'm Irish and gave the English phonetic spelling, rather than the Irish spelling.


In no way was my post supposed to be a critisism of yours, I hadn't seen yours when I posted.Apologies for the confusion.

Thank you for your comments. Pratie seems to be the answer to match the other letters in the DT crossword.

This English person doesn't, nox - I've only ever seen it spelled "pratie"..........
