Banana Bread

I saw a mention of it the other day.  It's something I've never tried.  Can it be bought in supermarkets?

Yes.  Very often it will have buttercream or frosting on top.  It will be with the cakes

I have bought a Banana Loaf from both Marks and Spencer and Waitrose.Neither had any frosting or icing on the top.
