does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Good wateveritis...I think there's fluff in my head, I don't know where I am or what I'm doing today. I don't think we've got fluff producing trees but there's everything else sneezemaking in the air.

I've had a letter from the mexico to go for my annual blood test and BP. I'll see if I can talk them into doing an antibody test. 'Don't you know who I is?!' :)

Poor Mrs jno jnr I do sympathise. I had that 24/7 for 3 weeks but was pleased cos it meant the baby was staying put.
It was lovely here so I trotted to village but my hairdressers still shut. I do hope they return. Hair is now longish. I did manage to buy a micro usb cable. I didnt stop for coffee anywhere as I am being cautious.
I hope the pollen doesnt come back.

I had another message from the mexico recently about the blood test for thyroid.I politely declined again.I think they don't care as long as you tell 'em you're OK.I'll phone them if I'm not OK.
I have other priorities.I want to go and get my hair done ,see the chiropodist ,see a dentist and source a chippie that delivers ....in my dreams.

Hello all. Shaney how do you know your thyroid is ok? I go every 6 months, and that was a bit too low so they upped my dose and then I was too high so they reduced it again. I have absolutely no idea.
Sunny day . Now the law is we have to wear masks everywhere in public. I dont mind better safe then sorry.
They just steams up my glasses!!

Morning...still not warm enough. Looks like we've only got tomorrow before it rains and cools down again :(

I'm not the stick insect I once was, I'm normal now, haha ....all the weight in the wrong places of course.

I rang the surgery and a less than enthusiastic receptionist mumbled and ummed and ahhhed and told me she wasn't sure about a blood test but booked me in for BP next week. (Sigh) The blood test is more important to me. Make your mind up folks.
I was a bit peed off yesterday so some retail therapy was necessary. I ordered a cardi from White Stuff that I'd seen weeks ago and it strangely popped into my mind during a down moment :)

Neti apparently if you pull your mask up a bit higher so it sits under the bottom of they glasses frame it stops the steam up. I spent some time yesterday pulling out summer scarves and packing them individually into plastic bags. I know its not a great use of plastic but my plan is to shove a few in the car so if I need one as a face covering I can just grab one and have a bag ready to shove it into as soon as I am done with it and then out of the bag and into the washing machine when i get home....it turns out that I have got the european scarf mountain.

Hello all
Overcast today after lovely sunshine yesterday. Thunderstorms on the way so they say.
Neti my thyroid has been steady for ages now.I take 200mcg a day and feel fine.
I very much doubt it will change any time soon.I appreciate they have to call you in for the check up but under the circumstances if I feel fine why bother them when they have more urgent things to worry about.I just keep taking the tablets.
Nothing doing otherwise.

A big one walked across our living room floor the other night and vanished under a cabinet. I sprayed it and haven't seen it since, but maybe it's building up muscle strength and plans to take its revenge.

"Only a garden spider"?? "A big one walked through our lounge??" However do you survive? Woofy have to admit that is a handsome fella but I would poke it until it disappeared! I am frightened of anything that hoos, skips, jumps or scuttles! If they meandered slowly I think I could cope!

I don't mind spiders.I have one that lives in the downstairs lav .Frogs are OK too apart from when you go to put a wellie boot on and the one that was hiding in it jumps up your leg.
