south american version of a calzone or pastie... a pastry crust filled with meat and veg
I think that Kingaroo means South Asian. They can be filled with vegetables OR meat (large numbers of Indians are vegetarian).

Samosas are an asian savoury snack. my mum made them for over 30 years for take-aways and shops. I now make them on a daily basis for anyone who orders them. i make them with meat or veg fillings.

you can buy them in the supermarkets but they taste nothing like the home made ones. i regularly bring them to work for my colleagues and they love them.
