Apartame contains some really nice chemicals one of which is wood alcohol! It also contains pheylalanine to which some of the population can be allergic to so beware! It has been linked to neurological diseases and can in some cases mimik MS in the brain. I have been aware for many years that Apatame can cause migraine and I have noticed that it does just that to me, therefore I try my best to avoid any food that contains it, which can be difficult as many manufacturers are adding it to their products, I do not believe that aspatame is safe and have banned my daughter from having it, sugar might rot the teeth but aspartame rots the brain! For brilliant information follow the links on the answers above.
