Definitely prawn and Rose Marie sauce with lettuce on granary. I would say "yum", but I've just stuffed my face on pizza! LOL! x

Mature cheddar cheese and juicy tomato on fresh crusty white bread. Mmmm.

My weirdest is probably cheese and strawberry jam. Mmmm.

My yuckiest? A Greek salad wrap (does that count) it had olvies in it. Or anything with avocado in.

My favourite is Greggs chicken and mango mayonaisse. The worst sanwch i've ever had was in the Outer Hebrides. The bread was full of little holes that we only foundlater were caused by earwigs in the loaf.
Hi yinyang Im originally fro the Outer Hebridies. The earwigs are for a bit of extra crunch ;)
Chow mein pot noodle sandwich. Or Roysters T-bone steak crisps. In fact, any kind of crisps at all.
Hi alijangra. Whereabouts you from? my gran's from Scalpay off Harris so that's where we used to spend our summer holidays.
p.s sorry to hijack your question, little coojy!
I from Lewis. Harris is much nicer though, lovely beaches.
I think it's all lovely up there. When my girls are a bit older and we can face the thought of a very long car journey with them we'll def. take them up.Have a good weekend from one Scottish Alison to another.
Also have to agree that crisp sanwiches are delicious, especially a very strong salt and vinegar.(see - i am sticking to the question)
got to be marmite and roast beef monstermunch on brwon bread, I think that fits in both categories

Cold spaghetti bolognaise in a sandwich between two chunky slices of bread

Thick butter and sugar

Banana and cinnamon

French stick, thick butter and chocolate powder or chocolate chunks

Try them all....you'll be pleasently suprised

Cheese and Pickle-you can't beat it! or any sandwhich with crisps in it, or cheese and honey (my mum likes that) or cheese, mayo and onion (mmm) or posh sundried tomato bread, mozzarella, chopped fresh basil, dried mixed herbs and lots sunblush tomatoes. MMM!
forgot, ham and chip sandwich with curry sauce yum may have that tonight
cheese and pickled onion is fantastic but i also love pork and potato with grated cheese and mayo!!!!
Home cooked rare steak, iceberg lettuce and tomato with slatherings of english mustard... yumyum

Salt and vinegar crisps - no other flavour crisp sarnie for me i'm afraid.

2 that others seem to find weird but i have been having for years and neither seems at all weird:

- marmite and tomato

- bacon and banana

Oh, i'm hungry now.

getting lots of ideas for the lunch boxs, what about the old chip butty, takes me back to my childhood.
Chopped boiled egg with grated mature cheddar cheese inbetween toasted bread. My mouth is watering!!

Fav Peanut butter, banana and strawberry conserve on soft whit.

Worst...Has to be any pre-packed ones that look like a good idea at petrol station yet when you eat them the salad is as limp as a viagra stooge and the bread stale around the edges. On top of that Esso have charged you 2 and half quid for the bloody priviledge.

Favourite - warm roast beef with English mustard.

Weirdest - that would have to be cold toad in the hole sandwiches with pickled onions.

Tuna, mayo and red onion...mmmm!
