hi ******* - glad to help - don't forget if you don't have Galliano in the house when you have a craving - make a basic version at home - takes 2 mins:
1 5TH vodka
2 cups sugar
1 tsp glycerin
3 tsps anise extract
6 drops yellow food coloring
In a blender, pour Vodka over sugar, add all other ingredients and blend on low about 30 seconds.
Couple of variants: http://www.liqueurweb.com/herbalrecipes.htm
Gald to help F..T - but your name gets blanked here.......
Anyway, have a go at combining some of the liqueurs with other meats as well - the flavours in the liqueurs will always add a definite extra to some recipes.
And don't forget they go brilliantly over ice cream.........
The links off the liqueuerweb site are good as well - homedistiller is great for some extra ideas - get busy now and you'll have some great stuff for Christmas! - and Gunters is handy too.
