Cooking In Slow Cooker

Hi - I'm planning to cook 4 chicken quarters in my slow cooker, and was wondering how long it would take...I also want to add potatoes at some point.

I would cook them for about six hours on low.
Add some garlic,lemon juice ,tarragon and stock Dash of white wine..Put the potatoes and any other veg in about two hours before it is finished.Cut the veg in smallish chunks though.You can let it sozzle all day ..it won't come to any harm and the meat will be lovely and tender. To give it a bit of colour brown the chicken pieces off in some butter and oil first.

Veg can take longer than the meat if cut too big, I'd line the bottom with the veg and put the meat on top. All in together at the start, after browning the meat.
