To narrow the terms, just put in what you fancy trying in the search box - i.e. beef stew and have a look at the results. really handy site I seem to be promoting a lot at the moment, but I think the suggestions are really easy and there is a good wide choice of options.
Here's a suggestion; do your shopping as usual, but if something unusual catches your eye, pop it into your basket. Doesn't have to be too exotic - something you find in your supermarket will do. Either add it into your tried and tested recipes, or if you can't think of a way of working it in, check out the BBC site mentioned above and search for it.

With any chicken left over from a roast I like to make chicken risotto. I just use onions, peppers, mushroom (bacon aswell sometimes), risotto rice, chopped up cooked chicken and a stock cube (or 2) with water. With fresh chicken I sometimes make a simple stir fry with chopped up chicken breasts, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and a pack of those baby corns and mange touts. I usually serve it with those fine egg noodles. The great thing about a stir fry is that you can use as many different ingredients as you like, so play around until you find things you like. I usually cheat with a stir fry and use those chinese stock cubes (from Oxo) to get a Chinesey flavour.
