Caffine in Green Tea

Is there any caffine in Green tea?

Two of the facts listed are:-

- Tea contains about half the amount of caffeine found in coffee.

- Green and black teas are from the same plant, Camelia sinensis, and contain similar amounts of antioxidants and caffeine.

There is a little, but not very much. I've checked a few stats and they seem to vary, but usually it is less than 10% of what you'd find in a black coffee and often less than 5%. This can depend on the type of tea and how long you let it stew for. Apparently white tea has less. (I would assume they don't mean normal tea with milk here) ;-)

Yes, but you can get decaffinated green tea which contains less

Natural tea contains caffeine. As does Green tea. I bought some decaff green tea and it is SO much nicer!

I had a food senisitivity test and green tea and tea were listed as ok for me but coffee was not and coke too. The caffeine must be almost negligible
