Does anyone know why galaxy chocolate tastes so much different to other chocolate? I know most different makes of chocolate taste slightly different but galaxy tastes completely different. Also galaxy chocolate gives me headache whereas other chocolate doesnt.

Thanks

Ingredients: Sugar, coca butter, skimmed milk powder, cocoa mass, milk fat, lactose, demineralised whey powder, vegetable fat, emulsifiers (e442, Soya lecithin), flavouring. Yummmmmm!

Guess which gives you the headaches. The flavourings can cause the problem but there are other factors - like how many pounds of the stuff you eat at one time?

hi nickmo, Thanks for that. I eat loads of chocolate and dont normally get headache, but if I have a bit of galaxy chocolate I do. I probably should just steer clear of it but when I got a chocolate head on and theres only galaxy in the house I cant help myself :(

Hi aka pixie! - I can only say you need a bit of self control - or lots of it. I mean, really, if you know it will hurt, why do it?? Tsk tsk, must try harder.

Now now, stop thinking chocolate - soft, dreamy creamy chocolate, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

heeee heeeee you're a badden lol, awww its really hard having willpower when the local shop sells 14 chomps for a pound lol

ok - off to the shops. Buy the lot. Hold it in the hand and feel it melt through the finigers, then a happy half an hour cleaning up in the usual fashion.

Or just stop thinking about it! Good grief, just think of the headaches.......

hmmm earlier I ordered double amounts of fruit on the shopping. Hopefully this will take my mind off chococlate :)

Hi aka-p - just to give you a suggestion then... - you melt the choc in a bain marie with a little butter for 'shine', gently fold in a touch of cream, add a dash of cointreau or malibu or whatever, and dip the ends of strawberry, orange etc ino the melted choc. Let it cool and harden on some greaseproof paper, drip over them a line or two of royal icing - use the ready made in tubes for ease of handling if your not too hot with a piping bag - and a dusting of cocoa if you want, and have these little treats all day long.

Feel better now? Choc and fruit....

Have a peachy day
