If I just drink fruit juice and water for 5 days, and only eat bits of raw fruit and veg, will I lose weight in that time. I'm sure it will be a shock to my body....?

I think 5 days is too long to follow a regime like this. Why not pick two days when you don't have a hard physical regime, possibly a week-end? Your bowels will probably rebel and you may suffer the "trots" if you try it for any longer.

I lost 4 bs in two days by just eating melon, grapes and cottage cheese but after that time I was sick of the sight of all three. I'd try to include a little more fibre to make it bearable.
fruits and fruit juices have lots of sugar. i don't think you will loose weight, you might loose inches not weight. i am vegetarian and i eat mostly fruits, and i have put on a few pounds since the start of summer. thats because i eat more fruits than ever these days because they are cheaper and more abundant.
You will feel very odd, possibly quite acidic and heartburny, and may find your breath turning quite bad. I also agree with Wendy and lia's comments above.

No-one should have to do stuff like this. All we need to do is moderate everything and not overdo the bad stuff. the water, fruit and veg are essential, but as part of a wider diet.
If you have never done this before...5 days is WAY too long to start out with. I would turn this idea into a cleansing fast. Perhaps two or three days. Drink clear juices and tea. If you do this for about 3 days you will have extreme bowel movements...it will clear out your entire digestive system. You cold expect to loose about 4 lbs. + if you do it for 3 days. Good luck! :)
Most likely but it wouldn't be healthy.

Why not add a bit of brown rice for fibre? But 5 days is rather long. Just one day will probably make you feel quite zingy. 5 days will exhaust you.
The weight you lose will have a better chance of staying off if you add some lean protein (chicken, turkey, fish) to your plan. If you get enough fiber from your veggies, you don't have to add the starch from rice (or bread or pasta).

If you moderate your plan just a little bit, you can stay on it easier. Make sure you get a range of fruits so you're not just eating the high-sugar ones - your body/brain needs a steady source of energy carbs. If you don't get protein, you'll lose muscle mass.
