I attend a weekly slimming class and have lost almost 2 stone, however i now have lost all motivation and am having a bad 2 weeks!
I only lost 1/2lb last week (i normally lose 1 1/2 - 3lbs each week). I know your body weigh can change, but i need to kick start. its not just the weigh thing, i feel myself losing interest. Although I feel much better and look more confident, i just feel my progress is slowing recently. Can anyone give me any help or suggestions to get me back on track!

But you need to see your eating plan as a way of life now, not something you are doing temporarily as a hobby before going back to "normal". If you give up now, you will gain back the 2 stone in lightning speed. This in turn will mess with your metabolism and you will find it harder to lose weight next time.
Instead of giving up, make a list of all the benefits of being ANOTHER 2 stone thinner... all those lush clothes! Not to mention health and confidence. You have a 2 stone head start on most of us, so KEEP AT IT!!
Could you get someone to sponsor you?
Also, hormones etc play a big part in weight loss. If you only lost half a pound last week, the chances are you will lose 3 lbs next week- thats how it has always worked with me! But if you give up, you will never know. Could you also start an exercise class- that's the best way to lose weight!

Dont give up sueking1. Im on the SW plan and losing between 1-3IB a week. Even if it's just 1IB I dont care as long as Im not gaining! As Scarlett says,hormones play a large part in our diets. If you're still of period age maybe your weight loss is slower because you're due? I used to gain upto 5IB each month when I was due.Keep going you're doing well. Kay.
Keep going ! congratulations on losing 2 stones, it's a lot! I'm trying to watch what I'm eating too, and I have quite a bit to lose, so I'm amazed at the willpower some people have like you. I know it's hard, but think of the positive aspects. You probably noticed great changes in your body after 2 stones, well imagine how amazing you will feel when you've lost even more ! Keep going Sueking1, you will be so proud of yourself ! And what's 2 weeks in a lifetime ? It's perfecty normal to reach a "plateau" when you're losing weight, but it will start coming off again soon, don't worry. Best of luck ! x
Hi sueking.i lost 5 stone in all with weightwatchers,on the slow weeks i wondered why i bothered at all,but i done it,in all it took me about 7 months,7 LONG months it felt at times,but i was told just cos it doesnt register on the scales,DONT think you having lost,apparently its down to,,,something i cant understand,,,,,anyway,the inches still came off regardless,keep going,you willhave negative thoughts sometimes but the end result,,,,is,,,,pride!!
