Any idea who used to make these before Walkers took over? Think it might have been KP but amn't sure. Thanx

But the square crips were withdrawn because they contained silica to make them crunchier and this was considered harmful. In fact they were so crispy/crunchy you could imagine they were a bit like eating lightbulbs.
Golden Wonder crisps were so named simply because that was the variety of potato originally used to make them. The name also seemed appropriate for the look and taste of the finished product. Things changed when the original owners were bought out, and they never tasted as good afterwards.
