out of date beers

heyy i just purchased beers that where out of date are they alright to drink?

should be no problem. Certainly be ok if they are only just past the date. It's a best before date, but normally they won't start deteriorating for a long time after, depending on how they've been stored. I've got some bottles in the fridge that are 6 months past their date, but they're still fine.
They won't be any good, send 'em here and I'll see to it that they're disposed of safely.
naz once he sends you them ,you could send me one or two just to test of course lol
caz, absolutely ... it'd be great to get a second opinion on just how 'bad' they were ...
Occasionally my husband comes home with a few bottles that the bar manager has been about to chuck out because of the sell-by date.

If they're no more than a couple of weeks or so over date, then they should be fine. Beyond that, they're unlikely to do you any harm, but they may not taste their best. By 'taste their best', I mean that you'd have to be a real connoiseur of beer to be able to tell.

How can beer deteriorate, when it's been pasturized and sealed in a bottle/can?
