I know its been asked before, but for those of us like me who don't live anywhere near an outlet, (believe me I don't!) can you buy it online?

I'll try and answer it (but in parenthesis I realy cannot for the life of me imagine why anybody would want to buy the stuff online. It's... well, frankly, it's COFFEE. Ordinary coffee. Nothing special IMHO).

Anyway, there's a store locator on the Starbucks site. It tried to tell me there are 67 locations in the UK but didn't list any in London -- even though I pass FOUR of them on the way to work!! Go here and enteeryour location: http://www.starbucks.com/retail/default.asp

The site has online shopping but in the US only. If you need the stuff that badly, the number to call (in the US) is 206-554-5800.

Whats the point in giving me a store locator when I've already said I dont live anywhere near an outlet. When i put in my details it told me there weren't any, which i already knew. The reason i wanted to try it was to see what all the fuss is about, seeing as i can't get hold of it here as we don't have a chain anywhere near us
There is no magical property to the beans they use. As mikewith says, coffee is coffee is coffee and i would advise you save your money on an expensive cup from starbucks (they probably just use standard beans anyway, i'm guessing) and go down to the local deli and buy your own grounds
5029 - the point of giving you the store locator was to help you find your nearest outlet. I realise it might not be on your doorstep but given the fact that you can't buy the stuff online, and as you clearly wanted to taste it, I thought it would be a nice thing to do. You sound, incidentally, like you haven't had your morning dose of caffeine. Am I wrong? ;-)

The nearest Starbucks to me is either a plane or boat journey away. There are none on the landmass that i live on, which is what I meant when i said "believe me, there are none near me"
if your really desperate I'll pop in our local and send you some.
Why didn't you say where you lived in the first place and save us from this nonsense?
If you really want to see/taste what all the fuss is about - here is a US site that looks ok ( as Mike says there are none in the UK) Sometimes stuff from the States is far quicker than from here, anyway the price is roughly 8, or 5 for the special offer - you'll have to check out the shipping costs to see if you think it's worth it. Good Luck!

andjac - I said there was none near me and where could I buy it online, I didn't think this was complicated but obviously the question was too difficult for you to understand. The "nonsense" came about because people assumed what i said wasn't true and told me there must be one near me, when i had already stated, quite clearly there wasn't
1.Go on holiday. 2.Get out more. 3.Visit a cafe / starbucks. 4.Wake up and smell the coffee. You have been answered; no you can't buy the stuff online. Is it going to be cold if it arrived.
Be grateful you don't live near one. Their coffee is rank - bitter, nasty and cheap. You are obviously not so stupid as to mean buying a cup of it online, so you must mean the beans. Don't bother. Get some Fairtrade ones and make yourself a decent cup.
