hey everyone!

carbonara is my favourite sauce for pasta (even though i am actually veggie), can anyone give me AN EASY way to make this sauce or similar - if your recipe has pancetta/bacon in it dont worry coz i will just take it out - any carbonar recipes or other cheese/cream based yummy sauces!! fattening but wonderful! thank you!

put on a pan of spaghetti. Fry some onion and mushrooms in a pan. In a bowl/blender put in some eggs, parmesan cheese, double cream, salt and lot's of black pepper. Whisk/blend. When the sapghetti has cooked, drain, add cooked mushrooms and onions and then add blended sauce. The heat from the spaghetti will be enough to cook the sauce. Using two forks move the spaghetti and sauce around until heated through. Thats it!
Hi,
I know in England they like to put mushrooms and onions into spaghetti carbonara, but in Italy you don't actually do that. You can follow ummm's recipe but leave the mushrooms and onions out... that's proper italian carbonara... if you like, you can add some garlic, instead of parmesan you can use pecorino cheese, or use both! Enyoy!!
