It depends if you are consuming more calories/fat/carbs than you would normally, and also if you are exercising the same/more. If you consume less calories than you normally would then in theory yes you will loose weight.
But maybe not if you go from shredded wheat to sugar puffs - it does work (my trousers falling down all day proves that!) but obviously it has to be the right sort of cereal and not a lot of sugar (cornflakes, special K, fitnesse, fruit and fibre, shredded wheat, weetabix, etc as opposed to the more sweeter ones)
I tried the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, drop a jean size in two weeks......... I carried on for eight weeks, had a proper meal in the evening and lost two stone.....WOW!!!

It does work, but you have to stick at it and no sneaking any cakes when no-ones looking
bluevern-is this true? Its possible to eat crunchy nut cornflakes for brekkie and lunch and lose weight? didnt you feel hungry between lunch and dinner?
But surely when you start eating normally again, the weight you have lost will just pile back on...?? xxx
