fozen lentils

i am defrosting some cooked, frozen (yellow) lentils and separately a good portion of curry sauce. will it be good if i re-cook the lentils in the curry sauce, or should i do something else? im not very experienced with lentils.

You could make up a tasty dahl with the lentils (see below) and serve this separately from the curry sauce, plus say plain boiled basmati rice, a naan bread or chapatti.

Heat up the lentils in a saucepan - you may need to add some water if they have solidified. In a separate pan fry some finely chopped or crushed garlic in oil or ghee and then add turmeric and stir well. (The proportions are approx. 1 pint of cooked lentils, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp oil/ghee.) Add salt to taste.

mmm thats perfect. i know its gonna be tasty, cos ive had that cooked for me before. and it looks so easy too. ta muchly.

Ha - I've just re-read my instructions on dahl and realised I forgot to mention that you need to pour the garlic oil turmeric mix into the hot lentils, stir slightly and then serve up ! Sorry about that.
