If you were on death row due to be executed the next day; what would you choose as your last ever meal?
You can have whatever you want, as many courses as you want.

I'd have bits of all my favourite things: the stinkiest selection of cheeses ever, whelks, oysters, foie gras, sweet gherkins, stuffing and as I gave up eating fast food about 7 years ago and because I was going to die and it wouldn't matter anymore I'd have a KFC. And some tarka dahl. And I'd try to track down the person who made me this dirty dirty sandwich at a petrol station in Tunisia. Haven't a clue what was in it but it was sheer joy.
Interesting this, not just because of food
- king prawn phall with bombay aloo phall hot, vegetable rice, garlic naan -
but because - how can you eat a hearty breakfast when you are just about to be dropped 8ft at the end of a rope ? Is it that a soul that close to the certainty of death somehow becomes resolved.

Well overdoing it certainly wouldn't matter so...
Broccoli & Stilton Soup
My mum's roast dinner, pork with crackling and cauli, cabbage, mashed potato (fresh, none of that packet rubbish), peas, runner beans and carrots.
or....well done steak or gammon with french fries, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Desert...although would probably be ready to burst by now...a nice homemade fruit pie, maybe rhubarb, with single cream
or mini pancakes (the english batter sort like you get at the Christmas Markets) with chocolate sauce and cream
