If you were on death row due to be executed the next day; what would you choose as your last ever meal?
You can have whatever you want, as many courses as you want.

I should have said what I would have! I'd have bits of all my favourite things: the stinkiest selection of cheeses ever, whelks, oysters, foie gras, sweet gherkins, stuffing and as I gave up eating fast food about 7 years ago and because I was going to die and it wouldn't matter anymore I'd have a KFC. And some tarka dahl. And I'd try to track down the person who made me this dirty dirty sandwich at a petrol station in Tunisia. Haven't a clue what was in it but it was sheer joy.
Interesting this, not just because of food

- king prawn phall with bombay aloo phall hot, vegetable rice, garlic naan -

but because - how can you eat a hearty breakfast when you are just about to be dropped 8ft at the end of a rope ? Is it that a soul that close to the certainty of death somehow becomes resolved.

I suppose I should have specified last dinner. I reckon you wouldn't get a breakfast if you were going to get a lethal injection or gas or whatever.
Forget the whole death row thing. Just say that there isn't going to be any more decent chow ever from tomorrow so what would you eat then?
my mums home made steak pie, followed by my mums home made apple crumble and ice cream, a cheeky wee red glass or two of wine, followed by a few Drambuies fresh coffee with white aftereight mints,,classy or what eh ?
My mums garlic mushrooms with some frech bread to mop up. Mums roast beef with roast potatos, cauliflower cheese, sweetcorn and onion rings. followed by cheese cake and an Irish coffee. All washed down with gallons of white wine
me again.second choice,,,,,,,,,,a selection of starters from the indian takeaway, with some nice cold lager mmmmmmmmmmm
Wild mushroom & Chorizo rissotto ... a HUGE plate of it ... followed by nutella & cherry pancakes, cooked as I want another so they are always fresh ...
Fresh prawns and lobster.
Chilli con carne with basmati rice
Selection of cheesecakes
the whole Dennys menu.
Steak pie with some yummy creamy mash potatoe lashings of veg followed by apple crumble or jam roly poly and custard......or.......i'd go to the aagrah and have an indian banquet with plenty of rose wine to wash it down!! yummmmmmmmmmmy!!!!!
Quie honestly, i wouldn't be able to swallow a thing, I'd be a nervous wreck. It would have to be a bottle of wine, preferably white!
If I knew that I was facing death row I wouldnt be able to eat for weeks. Id become thin as a rake. No way would I be eating a single morsel of food. However it would be far better to get as drunk as possible before the grande finale.
Macaroni cheese with black pepper;
Really really buttery mashed potato, perhaps with tinned tomato and oxo gravy poured over the top, heaven!;
Nachos with home made guacamole;
cherry cheesecake;
Pint of guinness;
Some Rennie ;op
Well overdoing it certainly wouldn't matter so...

Broccoli & Stilton Soup

My mum's roast dinner, pork with crackling and cauli, cabbage, mashed potato (fresh, none of that packet rubbish), peas, runner beans and carrots.

or....well done steak or gammon with french fries, mushrooms and tomatoes.

Desert...although would probably be ready to burst by now...a nice homemade fruit pie, maybe rhubarb, with single cream

or mini pancakes (the english batter sort like you get at the Christmas Markets) with chocolate sauce and cream
jenna , you going to burst after all that .
i know haha, spose it wouldn't really matter though huh :) x
fish and chips , mushy peas, salt, gallons of vinegar and ketchup. Straight out of the paper. With wooden fork! Preferably on Cromer seafront on a windy day.
