How much is a bottle of jameson's in dublin? is it worth bringing back to the UK as a gift or are there better presents around?

I went to Ireland last year, and thought that Irish Whisky would be a lot cheaper than here - not so. It was the same price as the supermarkets over here. Depends if the gift is for a man or woman. There are the most beautiful fine wool shawls in gorgeous colours. Enjoy your holiday.

Strangely enough, Irish whiskey is generally cheaper in Scotland, and Scotch whisky is generally cheaper in Ireland.
