A ploughmans lunch.

Usually cheese (preferably cheddar), salad, pickle, crusty bread and butter and pickled onions. Posh ones have grapes or apple too.

Don't know if anyone can add to that. Probably depends which part of the UK you have them.

fish and chips
Over christmas, when we have cold turkey and ham we always have pickles, beetroot, salad, cheese and bread etc.
I would say fish and chips too
