can anyone tell me how much my autograph book is worth, it contains signatures from phil collins, elton john, bryan ferry, eric clapton, cliff richard, bruce springsteen, bob geldolf, chris de burgh, peter bowles, jimmy saville, curt smith (tears for fears) mark o toole (frankie goes to hollywood)freddie starr, denis waterman (minder) jasper carrot, lawrie mcmennemy, mike nolan (bucks fizz) bill owen (last of the summer wine) barbara dixon, bob monkhouse, max bygraves, howard keel, dickie davis, harry seycombe, rula lenska, elkie brooks, status quo, anneka rice, nik kershaw, belinda carlise, charles dance. thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The problem with autograph collecting is there are so many on the market that are false ..Look at ebay..pages of them.Unless you can prove they are genuine then its best to keep then as a happy reminder of that part of your life..There are experts out there who could identfy then as real but its a long shot.
That sort of thing is impossible to value in this context. You really would need to get it professionally examined, and if you have a good provenance (proof that the autographs are genuine) then that would work in your favour.
My 'autograph' book (actually more of a friendship book) is larger than most, about quarto size, and I always try to attach a programme or some such to the page in order to give it a context.
Chaotica, the daft thing is I can prove all the autographs I've got but I wouldn't part with them for the world, no matter how much they were worth.
