Coggles, I sympathize.
Yes. That is, too much to burn off.
Here's the thing that I've experienced; When I'm heavier, I have much less energy. When I have less energy, I don't exercise, and I eat more and get even heavier and am even more exhausted.
Sometimes I am so lazy that in order to make myself go out, I have to make sure that I buy only a couple of days worth of food, so that I'll have to go out again.
Exercise feels good, and give you ENERGY. Anything outdoors even the easiest stuff, and especially walking (you don't need much). Exercise oxygenates the blood, and reduces the stress hormone cortisol.
You've probably already read about the endorphins. Just remember to take it easy at first and enjoy it.
Exercise will help your thyroid towards it's health, and exercise speeds up the way we burn calories even while we're resting.
In summary; burning more will help. Don't forget that serious eaters are often malnourished at the same time.
And, by the way, upyourbumno1, YOUR exercise might improve your general outlook towards other human-beans, and exercise invested towards education might help you to spell too.
