mangooo meringue

is it possible to have a meringue that is flavoured with mango... i have frozen mangoes and i wish i can flavour the meringue with it...is it possibleor will it only deflate? or only powdered stuffs, like cocoa powder, are available?

I'd make your meringues as usual and then make a sauce from the mangoes and carefully blend that with cream and fill the meringues with the mixture. Frozen mangoes, or any other fruits for that matter, tend to be very damp when defrosted and I can't imagine being able to mix that in to a meringue base. Even with cocoa powder to make 'chocolate' meringues, you need to be very careful mixing the powder in.

You could make an "Eton Mess" which is layers of chopped/mashed strawberries alternating with layers of chopped merangues and whipped cream - but use mashed mangoes instead... Or make Mango Icecream. You could make two large flattish merangues and lay mashed mangoes mixed with cream on one side and put the other merangue on the top like a sandwich cake..
