Sugar / Splenda

Hi. I have just bought the sugar alternative called Splenda. It says it only has 2 calories per teaspoon. So how many calories per teaspoon has real sugar?

By the way, they said it tastes just like sugar.... it doesn't :o(

I think it tastes the same as sugar, but the texture's different. It's also useful when following a low carbohydrate eating plan.

Thanks Gef, I will take a look at that. Just that it, like all other sweeteners leaves a horrible "aftertaste" in your mouth :o(

ya i think its 16 but dont overload the splenda even though you may just here rumors of what it can do to you or not believe in it it can effect your health if your a sugar addict
