Scallops

Help! I've just bought some scallops that have to be eaten today (they were reduced!). Have never cooked them before so not really sure what to do with them. As well as the scallops I have some streaky bacon, mushrooms, new potatoes, chorizo and carrots as well as some other usual bits and pieces (just in case anyone has any good recipes that would use any of this stuff)

Cut the chorizo into slices, put them in frying without any fat, fry them gently till they are nice and hot and brown - remove the chorizo from the pan and then fry the scallops for three minutes in the juices from the sausage. Remove them them and serve.
