Calorie count
10 Answers
I don't normally count calories but could someone do a rough calorie count for me?
Breakfast; Small bowl of muesli and a banana with semi-skimmed milk
Lunch: White bap with ham and low fat mayo, one pear, one low fat yoghurt
Dinner: Lamb chop with veg and greek salad.
Supper: two oat cake buscuits with cheese.
Many thanks, would just like to know how many calories I am taking in (this would be an average day), as cant understand why I am putting on weight.
Thanks

PS, am not preggers

Really more about how many calories you're burning in relation to what you're eating. I lost 2 stone last summer over 3 months by reducing my intake to a well balanced 1000 calories and being a bit more active than I was (i'm active, but i don't do gyms....). And it has stayed off. These websites were useful:

Good luck

Thanks everyone, I didn't think I was overeating, but I must hold my hands up, I don't do any excerise except walking everwhere as I cant drive so hopefully that must count for something.
Hi BBW will e-mail you over the weekend with an update but you may be right, now that I am not working, I guess I am not walking around the office etc, that could be it, just not burning up the calories.
As for drinking I do drink a lot of tea (maybe 8 cups a day), I know thats far too many and I do eat later than I should but to be honest I have brekky at about 11, lunch about 2-3, dinner about 7-8 and supper about 10-11 but in my defence I dont go to bed until around 2 in the morning so everything is a couple of hours behind the norm.
I am not drinking alcohol at the moment either:-o( so I can rule that out.
Thanks for the links, I will look at them later. I have never been a big eater and am small boned so perhaps I have just gotten lazy, lol, will check out links and draw up plan of action.
Many thanks to you all

I also recommend doing calorie count! If you do calorie count you don't need to take regular exercise. This is my blog - https:/ /calcul atorser vice.co m/healt h/how-m any-cal ories-s hould-i -eat-a- day/
