I am starting a rebellion against poncy supermarket sandwiches with there posh expensive fillings - what about marmite or Jam cut into 4 neat little squares!

I had 4 little bovril sambos today just like my mum used to put in my lunch box! (with crusts on)

Who's going to follow suit tommorrow?

Oooh... as a kid we used to have toasted sandwiches with mashed banana and cinnamon filling. They were scrumdiddlyumptious!
And condensed milk sandwiches. *slurp*

I can remember me and my mates going home for dinner when was all at school. We would call into the shop and each by a cadburys wispa. Then go to my mates house and great the wispas into sandwiches!!!!!! Mmmmmmmmm!!!

I had to go to my mates because my dad wouldnt let me do this at home! :(
Fave is prawns and salad cream, theres an elderly gent in my street has mars bar sarnies,he actually slices the mars into "same width" slices, he also dips a mars into bovril,not a sarnie I know but kinda of gross dont you think?

Battered jam butties - deep-fried, of course.
I always have a jar of sandwich spread in the fridge!
Slaad cream sandwiches were my favourite and any kind of meat spread.

fish finger and potato waffle sarnies are the way forward.... they even do them in the baguette shop on norwich market!

i used to love beef paste sarnies... until i grew up and realised which bit of the cow beef paste actually was.

& i love a cheese with tomato ketchup sandwhich

i must admitt redcrx that homemade ones are much better, 3 fish fingers, one waffle n 2 slices of thick white bread.... yum! tomato sauce optional of course!
