Apart from London, which uk city has the most to do and the best restaurants...

My mate is coming from London, so that's ruled out and I'm from Newcastle.... I've been to Leeds, Mnahcester and Liverpool... what cn you recommend? We enjoy anything cultural, ie. theatre, galleries and exquistite dining.

York? Whats there to do ANYWHERE?

Hello, to a fellow Geordie(I,m from North Heaton) but live in Greece. I would recommend Bristol & Edinburgh. My husband agrees and he also recommends Glasgow which I have yet to visit. Have a great time, whatever city you choose.
