My mate is coming from London, so that's ruled out and I'm from Newcastle.... I've been to Leeds, Mnahcester and Liverpool... what cn you recommend? We enjoy anything cultural, ie. theatre, galleries and exquistite dining.
Hmmm come to Burnley. Its not a city but its a busy town.
there is a few museums with art galleries and a theatre.
I dunno about exquisite dining but its certainly cultural...
York is fantastic, loads to see, use the park and ride though cos parking is dear, plenty to see, minster etc, east to walk around and very interesting, merchant adventurers hall is amazing, the day will go real quick there., If not the try Durham, another lovely place, good luck, enjoy whereever you go

Hello, to a fellow Geordie(I,m from North Heaton) but live in Greece. I would recommend Bristol & Edinburgh. My husband agrees and he also recommends Glasgow which I have yet to visit. Have a great time, whatever city you choose.
