Sky - because I like rice instead of potatoes my family always trys to buy a rice cooker for me - but I won't let them. I can't imagine anything that would be easier than the way I do it now. This is my fail proof way and easier than washing a rice cooker afterwards:
1 Cup of Rice
2 Cups of Water or Stock
Put in a pot with a lid.
Bring to a boil.
Turn off the heat.
Put on the lid.
DO NOT TOUCH it for 15 minutes (no peeking AT ALL).
After 15 minutes take off the lid and fluff with a fork.
Note: If you don't have a measuring cup - you can use your coffee cup or anything you want to use. Just put in 2 times as much water or stock as you do rice.
