Beef Broth

Does anybody have a really good recipe for broth? We used to have it made with mince when I was younger but all I can find on google is recipes using bones

Turn this into a Welsh Broth by using lamb in place of the beef.

The most basic beef broth to make is simply gently boiling beef and rice in water, seasoning and straining the broth to serve. Adjust the amounts of beef and rice to suit, but to 1 lb of minced or shredded beef add about 2 tbspn rice. Cook in 4 pints water. Shin of beef is probably a good cut for this.
