I have decided to not have a christmas cake this year and thought I would buy some panettone instead ,has anyone got any ideas on how to make it more christmasy
I love pannetonne, but we have always had it. It's very nice fried like eggy bread (make sure you use cream, eggs and sugar) with whipped cream (that has some cointreau in it) and some fresh raspberries or satsumas. My Italian family dusts it with lots of icing sugar and hang it in the box over the radiator to warm.
