Hi helibore :o)
Contact customs and excise and ask them. I sent them an e-mail about something I wanted to send to Australia last Christmas and they were very quick to reply and were very helpful.
My Mum sent my sister (who lives in Oz) some of her herbal tea bags that she can't buy over there and they were seized as they contained dried orange peel. If you list everything in the ingredients they will be able to tell you if it is allowed or not :o)

The Aussies are quite rightly incredibly paranoid about things being brought into their country but are equally helpful if you declare things at immigration as I found when taking in a place mat set from Philippines made of grasses or palm material.(It was well sealed) Also it's forbidden to transport fruit from the south to the north and vice versa because of fruit fly infestations and any on-board fruit etc has be dumped in bins strategically place by the authorities!
