My parents are coming to me in the morning for a change and I need to provide some snacks. I have no time to bake, and can only go out and buy some stuff today! Also my dad is diabetic.
Any ideas of some nice things I could lay out for them? Thanks!

Crackers and cheese, pickled walnuts, olives.cheese and cocktail onions on sticks or prawns, mussels or cockles on slices of French stick.
i've seen ads for iceland - they sell christmas buffet packs
Even mince pies, stollen slices or for something savory, smoked salmon on crackers.
Hey Scarlett :o)

Cut up cucumber, celery, peppers (good for your Dad) etc.. and buy some dips. You could buy some olives, pickles, lots of different cheeses and a selection of crackers and most supermarkets do party packs, we got most of ours from ASDA at 1 a box! These will be a welcome relief come Tea time on Christmas day and Boxing day when all I have to do is throw them in the oven :o)

Hope you have a lovely time :o)
As it is morning time, what about some nice fruits and maybe some cold meats like salami etc. chicken on skewers.
Too late for this occasion, but I was also going to suggest lots of crudities, i.e. strips of celery, cucumber, fresh carrot, red peppers, small raw cauliflower florets and cherry tomatoes with some dips. With all the starchy carbohydrate stuff we eat over Christmas, it's sometimes nice to have something fresh and crunchy for a change.
Pitta bread with hummous, taramasalata etc., with olives, Feta cheese etc.
