Could I cook my turkey breast in my slow cooker. Will I brown it first or brown it after. Quick replies please.

You could do either homerbart but I would brown it first as this will seal in the juices more as turkey has a tendency to dry out.

Just thinking about it some more and now I am not so sure, I assume its just the skin you want browned. You could cook it in the slow cooker then remove it, place it in tin foil with some of the juices and finish it off in the oven, that will give it the crispy skin we all like. Just dont want your christmas dinner to be ruined by my 'advice'.
Just asked the boss, she says brown first...good luck
