powder pea soup

hi my nan keeps saying how she wished you could still buy the pea soup that you could buy years ago. it was the powder form that you just added hot water. does anyone know if this is still available or of any websites that sell the old foods. i have found an old sweet shop but not foods. she has tried the pea soup recipes that are available but they dont taste the same.

To make your own you could include some lardons which are readily available in supermarkets now.
You would need to use dried peas, the ones you soak overnight with a white tablet (which is supplied with them),when cooked they come up like mushy peas. With the lardons added it turns out like a real old fashioned pea and ham soup, lovely and thick.Just add water or milk to make it the consistency of your choice.
