crock pot

i have a crock pot versaware slow cooker (4.7 ltr capacity) its great to use, but being a little bit careless the lid now has a nice chip out of the ceramic.
has anyone got any ideas where i could get a replacement from . thnx .

Its a circular lid, the crock pot sits on top of the heating base. ty

So it's the lid that's chipped? Can you use a plate weighted down on top?

no the lid is still useable but i like everything in my world to be perfect, so a replacement is a must .... good idea though

You can use any oven proof dish lids. There are some pyrex and corelle dishes that comes with lids; look around and see if you find one that uses the same size lid as your crock pot. Or just use a heavy pyres pie dish as a substitute lid.
