VICTORIA SPONGE ---quick method use soft tub marg 6oz self raising flour 1 half tsp bakeing powder 6oz soft tub marg 6oz caster suger 3 eggs . grease 2 8in sandwich tins and line with grease proof paper,. sift the flour bakeing powder in large bowel, add other ingredients mix well beat for 2 minutes .divide into the tins bake in oven at 170.c or 325.f for 25-35 mins until golden brown and well risen, turn out and cool on wire rack JAM AND BUTTER CREAM filling traditionally. or it would be very very nice with real cream .don,t forget to save me a slice.
