What are turkey twizzlers ? Are they made of turkey?

They're made of mechanically recovered turkey meat, pork fat and rusks. they're high in fat and sugar - disgusting! Each to their own I suppose!

Broiler raised turkeys, hormonally fed to encourage them to grow at a ridiculous rate, so they can hardly stand, along with thousands of others squashed into a shed, with no natural daylight, with just food and water, sitting in their own mess, and totally miserable!!
Slaughtered and all the good bits taken for human consumption, the rest... bones, feet, head, neck are all basically put in a machine and squashed to make the meat that goes into these twizlers, the same that goes into cheap hot dogs too, along with some pork fat too.
Sounds yummy doesnt it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a meat eater too, but am very careful what i eat, organic and freedom foods, at least i know what i am eating has been raised humanely, and not squished in a machine to make those funny shaped thingys!!! YUK!!! sorry!!

i know exactly what is in them.
i know exactl how theyre made.

however animal is animal.
your eating a chicken.
does it matter what part!!

and how they are raised is soemhing i cannoy change.

i just want to know how to buy them!!

Course it can be changed www.chickenout.tv if peoples attitudes changed so would their buying habits, then the producers would rethink the way their livestock is raised!
U can buy them in most supermarkets, in the freezer department.

Don't know if you can still get them, try a frozen food shop .
they were taken off the school dinners list a few years back tho.

if you think about it most animals are killed like that and most food products have stuff like they did in them so there was not much point in getting rid of them because before he did that stunt he had 100% fan base now 50% of that has gone just from that thing
