Is the spice in Danish pastry Cardamom or Cinnamon. a recent TV quiz said it was cardamom and i was not sure that they were correct

yeah, this was eggheads a week or two ago wasn't it? i remember thinking it was a bit fishy too. before they gave the answer options I was seriously expecting cinnamon to come up...and so was the lady who had to answer the question. sorry but i don't know the answer for sure - but my local Safeway is certainly selling cinnamon-spiced Danishes.
